Carla Jesus, partner of our Erasmus+ team, was elected to participate in the Microsoft Innovative Ed
Every year Microsoft recognizes and celebrates the achievements of educators who are preparing students for life in the 21st Century naming them as Microsoft Innovative Educator Experts.
In 2015, after a school year working with 800 teachers, Microsoft surprised 300 of them with the opportunity to participate in Global Educator Exchange. Carla Jesus, ICT and Computer Science teacher in Rafael Bordalo Pinheiro School Cluster, Caldas da Rainha, Portugal and partner of our Erasmus + team was elected to participate.
This meeting took place at Microsoft's campus in Redmond, Washington, from 28th April to 1st May, and the participants were able to hone professional development skills, provide direct feedback to product groups, and collaborate closely with other MIE Experts from around the world.
During this week Carla Jesus had also the opportunity to take an ITA Exam becoming Microsoft Certified Educator.
