Safer Internet Day 2016 at Drosia K.A’
On the 9th of February, during the international Safer Internet Day, the school programmed a lot of activities. One week before, a board was placed centrally posting a question: What will happen on the 2nd day of the 2nd week of the 2nd month? The question raised a stir among the students and it was perfect to build on it. On the day set to celebrate safer internet, the following activities took place:
Boards with students’ posters and safer internet themes were displayed in the form of an excibition for the parents to visit
How to stay safe on the web: Presentation to all groups of the 2nd and 3rd levels by a mother of the school, teacher of ICT
Safer internet lessons were taught to all levels, from 1st to 3rd
The students made budges to wear during the day and fridge magnets to take home as a memorabilia of the day
The Students School Board created a policy/contract involving safer internet use and disseminated it to all the students for them to sigh it
